- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the canned pumpkin, sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just combined.
- Add the vegetable oil and mix until smooth.
- Pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- These donuts are delicious when coated in cinnamon sugar.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
