- 1 large egg
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
- In another bowl, combine the sugars, vegetable oil, egg, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Once baked, let it cool slightly, then poke holes all over the cake.
- Pour your favorite pudding or caramel sauce over the top, allowing it to absorb.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
