- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ cup sugar
- 16 ounces ladyfinger cookies
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Fold in the mascarpone cheese until well combined.
- In a trifle bowl or individual serving glasses, layer the ladyfingers, followed by a layer of the pumpkin mixture, and then a layer of the whipped cream mixture. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
- Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

- For added flavor, consider adding some crushed ginger cookies as a layer.
