Ravioli Lasagna is a delightful twist on traditional lasagna, combining the flavors of classic lasagna with the convenience of store-bought ravioli.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 package refrigerated ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Add a layer of ravioli, then a layer of the ricotta mixture, followed by mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of marinara and mozzarella on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cooked ground beef or sausage between the layers.
  • Substitute fresh herbs for Italian seasoning if desired.
