Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized.
  3. While onions are cooking, boil potatoes in salted water until tender.
  4. Drain potatoes and mash with cream, remaining butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. In another pan, cook the ribeye steaks to desired doneness.
  6. Serve steak topped with caramelized onions alongside mashed potatoes.
