- 2 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the vanilla, and mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, combining well.
- Fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Try substituting different types of chocolate for variation.
- Make sure not to overmix once you add the Rice Krispies.
