- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, spinach, ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, prepare the garlic parmesan cream sauce by melting butter in a saucepan, adding flour, and whisking in cream until smooth.
- Add Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until melted.
- Serve meatballs with the garlic parmesan cream sauce drizzled over them.
Notes
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- These meatballs can be served over pasta or on their own.
