- 12 large jumbo pasta shells
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a bowl, mix together ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and basil.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the ricotta mixture.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce in a baking dish and place the stuffed shells on top.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with additional mozzarella if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Allow the dish to cool for a few minutes before serving.
- For extra flavor, add spinach or sautéed mushrooms to the ricotta mixture.
