- 2 cans navy beans
- 1 cup root beer
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion until translucent.
- In a large bowl, combine the beans, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, root beer, and turkey bacon.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños to the mixture.
- These beans can be served as a side dish or a main dish.
