Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and slice the potatoes thinly and layer them in a greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and milk until simmering, then add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped chives before serving.
