Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups sliced apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add softened butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  5. Layer the sliced apples over the crust and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  6. Crumble the remaining dough mixture over the top of the apples.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle sea salt over the warm bars and let cool before cutting.
