- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the sugar until well combined.
- Remove from heat and stir in the eggs, one at a time.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and pour half the batter into the prepared pan.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.
- Spread the remaining batter on top and drizzle with the rest of the caramel sauce.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes and let cool before sprinkling with sea salt.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
- Allow the bars to cool completely for easier cutting.
