- 4 cups yams, peeled and cubed
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine yams with brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, and cooked bacon.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top with chopped pecans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until yams are tender.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon if preferred.
- Add more maple syrup for extra sweetness.
