- 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons tarragon, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup grated cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix cream, milk, tarragon, salt, and pepper, then pour half over the potatoes.
- Add the remaining potatoes and pour the rest of the cream mixture on top.
- Top with grated cheese.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding garlic to the cream mixture.
- This dish can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days before baking.
