Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Thinly slice the sweet potatoes and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
  5. Layer half of the sweet potatoes in a baking dish, followed by half of the cream mixture and half of the bacon.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is golden.
