  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides.
  4. Add chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  6. Remove chicken and shred it with two forks.
  7. Return the shredded chicken to the skillet.
  8. Mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry, then add it to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
  9. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  10. Serve hot over rice or pasta.
