- 1 pound shrimp, deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into pieces
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the asparagus and mushrooms, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing well.
- Pour in the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can include crushed red pepper flakes.
- This dish pairs well with steamed rice or noodles.
