- 1 package wonton wrappers
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shrimp, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix until well combined.
- Place a teaspoon of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold them to seal, forming a triangle.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the wontons until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some spices or herbs to the shrimp mixture.
- You can bake the wontons instead of frying for a healthier option.
