- 1 pound flank steak
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak into thin strips against the grain.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Add the steak, and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak and cook until browned, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic, onions, and bell peppers. Cook until softened.
- Return the steak to the skillet, stir to combine, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some crushed red pepper flakes.
- Adjust the soy sauce to taste for preferred saltiness.
