- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, cubed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, black pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Pour the mixture over the beef.
- Add the chopped onions, carrots, and potatoes around the beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until beef is tender.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sear the beef in a hot skillet before placing it in the slow cooker.
- Feel free to add other vegetables such as peas or green beans.
