Ingredients

  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain the excess fat.
  2. In a slow cooker, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the cooked beef.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, and cheese.
  5. In a bowl, combine the milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture evenly over the layers in the slow cooker.
  6. Dot the top with butter.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
