- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain the excess fat.
- In a slow cooker, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the cooked beef.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, and cheese.
- In a bowl, combine the milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture evenly over the layers in the slow cooker.
- Dot the top with butter.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- This recipe can be modified by adding your favorite vegetables.
- For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of paprika or cayenne pepper.
