Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the onions and mushrooms in the slow cooker.
  3. Put the beef roast on top of the vegetables.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
  5. Pour the mixture over the beef roast.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
