- 3 pounds beef roast
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
- Place the onions and mushrooms in the slow cooker.
- Put the beef roast on top of the vegetables.
- In a separate bowl, mix the garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
- Pour the mixture over the beef roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.

- For added flavor, sear the beef roast in a pan before adding it to the slow cooker.
