Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef shoulder
  • 4 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, potatoes, and celery)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the beef shoulder in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the mixed vegetables on top of the beef.
  3. In a bowl, mix the beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper, then pour over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the beef is tender.
  5. Once done, shred the beef and mix with the vegetables before serving.
