- 3 pounds beef tenderloin
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Instructions
- Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the meat on all sides.
- Transfer the seared beef to the slow cooker.
- Add garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Once cooked, remove from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the beef with the pan juices.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the beef a few hours before cooking.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
