- 1 head green cabbage, chopped
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 cups chicken broth
Instructions
- Layer half of the cabbage in the slow cooker.
- Add half of the potatoes, then half of the sausage, onion, and garlic.
- Sprinkle with half of the seasonings.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Pour the chicken broth over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the cabbage and potatoes are tender.
- Stir before serving.
Notes
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers for extra flavor.
