- 4 pieces chicken thighs
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix pineapple chunks, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is tender.
- Once cooked, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl; add to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken overnight in the sauce.
- Serve with rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
