- 1 pound smoked brisket, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beer
- 1 package pretzel dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Coarse sea salt, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix the chopped brisket, cheddar cheese, and beer until well combined.
- Roll out the pretzel dough and cut it into squares.
- Place a spoonful of the brisket mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add jalapeños to the filling.
- Serve with additional beer cheese for dipping.
