– ¾ cup warm milk (100-110°F)
– ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1 large egg
– ¼ cup warm water
– 2 tbsp butter, for brushing

Instructions

1. Activate Yeast: Dissolve yeast in warm water with 1 tsp sugar. Let sit for 5-10 mins until foamy.
2. Mix Dough: In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add yeast mixture, warm milk, melted butter, and egg.
3. Knead: Knead for 8-10 mins (by hand) or 5-7 mins (mixer) until smooth and elastic.
4. First Rise: Cover and let rise 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
5. Shape Rolls: Divide into 12-15 equal pieces, roll into balls, and place on a greased baking tray.
6. Second Rise: Cover and let rise 30-45 mins until puffy.
7. Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 15-18 mins until golden brown.
8. Butter Brushing: Brush warm rolls with melted butter for extra softness.

Notes

– Rolls stay fresh for 2 days at room temp, up to 3 months in freezer.
