- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned. Drain the excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the beef mixture in a greased pie dish, and pour the egg mixture over it.
- Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden brown on top.
Notes
- Feel free to add other toppings like diced tomatoes or jalapeños.
- For a spicier version, include some hot sauce in the egg mixture.
