  • Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds tomahawk beef steak
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill for indirect cooking.
  2. In a bowl, mix garlic, olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Rub the marinade all over the steak and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Place the steak on the grill away from direct heat and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 120°F for rare, 130°F for medium-rare.
  5. Once done, remove the steak and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Finally, sear the steak over direct heat for 1-2 minutes per side for a nice crust.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Allow the steak to come to room temperature before grilling for better results.
  • Use a meat thermometer for the best accuracy in cooking.
