Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds tomahawk beef steak
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your grill for indirect cooking.
- In a bowl, mix garlic, olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Rub the marinade all over the steak and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Place the steak on the grill away from direct heat and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 120°F for rare, 130°F for medium-rare.
- Once done, remove the steak and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Finally, sear the steak over direct heat for 1-2 minutes per side for a nice crust.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Allow the steak to come to room temperature before grilling for better results.
