- 2 packets of ramen noodles
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 jalapeño, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound spicy cheddar sausage
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced jalapeño and chopped onion; sauté until soft.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the spicy cheddar sausage and cook until browned.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the ramen noodles and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Add the soy sauce and sriracha, mixing well to combine.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and cilantro.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less jalapeño and sriracha.
- This dish is great for meal prep, as the flavors deepen after sitting.
