- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup cheese (feta or mozzarella), crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked spinach with cheese and the beaten egg.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square, fold and seal the edges.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs like dill or parsley to the filling.
- These can be served warm or at room temperature.
