- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
- Take a portion of the meat mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and mold the meat around it, forming a ball.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite side.
Notes
- These meatballs can be baked or pan-fried for a different texture.
- Feel free to substitute ground beef with ground chicken or turkey for a lighter option.
