Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place stuffed shells in the dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit any meat-based sauces.
  • Feel free to add herbs like basil or oregano to the cheese mixture.
