Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir, letting it simmer and thicken for a few minutes.
- Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Cook for an additional minute.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the steaks for a few hours before cooking.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad.
