A rich and savory steak dish featuring a creamy garlic sauce that's perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy night in.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steaks and let them rest.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, letting it simmer and thicken for a few minutes.
  6. Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Cook for an additional minute.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the steaks for a few hours before cooking.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad.
