- 1 pound chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1/2 cup mixed vegetables
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/4 cup scallions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Marinate chicken thighs in bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked.
- Remove chicken and set aside; in the same pan, add rice and mixed vegetables, stir-frying until heated through.
- Return chicken to the pan, mix well, and garnish with scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of brown sugar based on your sweetness preference.
