- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups strawberries, sliced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Stir in the sliced strawberries and chocolate chips.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter in the pan.
- Pour the remaining cake batter on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- This cake is best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
