- 4 cups strawberries, hulled and diced
- 1 cup honey
- 1-2 jalapeños, finely chopped (adjust for spice level)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 package pectin
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the strawberries, honey, jalapeños, and lemon juice.
- Heat over medium heat until the mixture starts to boil, stirring frequently.
- Add the pectin and stir until fully dissolved.
- Bring the mixture back to a boil and cook for 5-10 minutes until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before pouring into sterilized jars.
- Seal jars and process in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.
Notes
- Adjust jalapeño quantity based on how spicy you prefer your jam.
- This jam pairs wonderfully with cream cheese on crackers.
