- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup strawberry jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare the cake mix as directed.
- Once baked, poke holes in the cake using a fork.
- Dissolve the jello in boiling water and pour over the cake.
- Allow to cool and then refrigerate.
- Top with fresh strawberries and whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh strawberries.
- You can substitute whipped cream with cool whip.
