- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract.
- Fold in the flour mixture until just combined.
- Spread the batter on the prepared baking sheet evenly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned. Let cool slightly.
- Whip the cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the cream over the cooled cake and top with sliced strawberries.
- Roll the cake gently using the parchment to assist.
- Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before slicing.
