Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until the mixture is thick and pale.
- Add in 1 teaspoon of vanilla and combine well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture until well combined.
- Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cake is golden brown.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly before rolling.
- While cooling, whip the cream with powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the cooled cake and top with sliced strawberries.
- Roll the cake tightly using the parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing.
