  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 4 sheets nori
  • 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Combine the rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. In a small bowl, mix sugar and rice vinegar until dissolved and stir into the cooked rice. Let cool.
  4. On a bamboo sushi mat, place a sheet of nori, then spread a thin layer of sushi rice over it.
  5. Spoon whipped cream and sliced strawberries along the edge of the rice-covered nori.
  6. Roll the mat tightly to form a sushi roll, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top for garnish.
