A delicious sweet and sour meatball recipe using turkey bacon and beef that the whole family will love!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup sweet and sour sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except for the sweet and sour sauce.
  3. Mix until well combined and shape into meatballs.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and coat with sweet and sour sauce.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add some crushed red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
  • Serve over rice for a complete meal.
