- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, chicken broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- If using cornstarch, mix it with a little water and stir it into the sauce after cooking to thicken.
- Shred the chicken in the crockpot before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce overnight before cooking.
- Serve with rice or bread to soak up the sauce.
