  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, chicken broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. If using cornstarch, mix it with a little water and stir it into the sauce after cooking to thicken.
  6. Shred the chicken in the crockpot before serving.
