- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the buttermilk and gently stir until just combined.
- Fold in the blueberries carefully.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and pat it into a rectangle. Cut out biscuits with a biscuit cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can substitute half of the buttermilk with heavy cream.
- These biscuits are best served warm and can be reheated in the oven.
