  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cooked turkey bacon (chopped), breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, combine pineapple chunks and barbecue sauce. Heat over medium heat.
  6. Once meatballs are cooked, add them to the saucepan and toss to coat with the sauce.
  7. Cook for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with extra pineapple if desired.
