- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until combined to form a dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
- Spread minced garlic, herbs, and cheese evenly over the dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly and place it seam-side down in a greased loaf pan.
- Let it rise for an additional 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow cooling before slicing.
