- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form into meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
- In another bowl, combine beef broth, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce, then pour over meatballs.
- Add sliced mushrooms on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Serve warm over mashed potatoes or rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, brown the meatballs in a skillet before adding them to the slow cooker.
- Feel free to add vegetables like carrots or green beans for a complete meal.
