- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can sloppy joe sauce
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain the fat.
- Add the onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until soft.
- Stir in the sloppy joe sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Top the beef mixture with frozen tater tots and shredded cheese.
- Cover the skillet and cook until the tater tots are crispy and cheese is melted.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with lentils.
