- 1 pound chicken breast, cubed
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine tequila, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, chili powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the cubed chicken to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute lime juice with lemon juice if needed.
- For an extra kick, add jalapeños to the skewers.
